" Queen of the Night "

The flower commonly known as the "Queen of the Night" is actually a type of cactus called the Selenicereus grandiflorus or the Epiphyllum oxypetalum. It is also sometimes referred to as the "Night-blooming Cereus." 

The name "Queen of the Night" is attributed to this flower because it blooms only at night, usually from dusk until dawn, and its exquisite beauty and fragrance make it stand out in the darkness.
