Dialog Tv Surreptitiously Fleecing its Customers

My family was away from the country for two months in the latter part of the 2017 and has realized on the return that the Dialog Tv connection has been disconnected due to non-payment.

The due amount was immediately paid and an official request was made to get the connection activated back.

After waiting a few more days without getting any positive results from their end, it was decided to call their helpline to get the matter resolved.

Again an official complaint was lodged but like in the past, no help came through.

After two failed attempts to get the connection activated again, it was finally decided to inform them that we were no longer interested in retaining their connection.

The Helpline was given all required details to enable them to finally disconnect us from their listing.

We thought that we have put the matter to rest finally but to our utter dismay, we have received another invoice recently billing us over Rs 5000/= of unpaid bills.

The Dialog had been known to fleece customers in this fashion.

And now it is the time that we put an end to this unscrupulous practice.

What a World We Are Living In Today ?

A murderer who was serving 25 years behind bars was released on medical grounds because he was the former president of the country.
A boy hugged a girl on the stage to show his appreciation in one of the school performances, now both facing suspension for their immoral act on stage.
A singer facing death threats now because she said not to drink water from one of the longest rivers in the world because it is highly polluted and full of parasites.
A religious leader is going places preaching peace and equal rights, when he rules over one of the most corrupt nations in the world full of money launderers and child rapists, hiding behind walls and cloaks.

Ode to the One Eyed Monster

Beauty has no universally accepted standard and or definition.
And sometimes one can’t help but fall in love with something seemingly has not a single beauty bone in its body.
It was monstrous and fierce looking but I could not help falling in love with the moment I saw it for the first time.
My feeling towards it was not an isolated one and all my siblings had the same feeling towards it.
We had our very special name for it too.
During school holiday times, we often visit up the country.
Father was in civil service, so he had plenty of Rail passes to go with his position.
On most occasions, we take a connecting train to the Fort Railway station to catch the upcountry bound Night mail train.
By the time when we get there, the rain is already there and being loaded with stuffs for the departure.
First thing first and we go locating the reserved compartment to dump our stuff and then run to the front of the train to see, what would be hauling us tonight through the wet and cold nights to top of the hill country.
As always, the big red colour one eyed monster was there to greet us.
We come back happy knowing that we would be safe and sound with it in front.
Later, as we grew much bigger and inquisitive, we got to know that this monster was given a bit of a push to help it negotiate to winding climb up peaceful by and another oldie a steam engine after the Rambukkana railway station.
But our love for the monster never diminished.
Sadly, I read somewhere recently, that only one of these monsters is still standing and all others have been replaced by the Blue colour Canadian ones.

The story goes that while the engineer was away, the workers have fixed the Arches upside down and on his return found, there was very little he could do to correct it.

Could this be right?

What about the engineering designs?

Anyone knows the real truth?

Foot soldiers Turned Whistleblowers !

Who are those so-called Whistleblowers and Patriots popping up on many Social Media platforms suddenly?

I confronted a few such people with genuine request to show us, where the funding comes from, but all my requests were either met with some වැට උඩ answers or total silence.

Then I suddenly realized that some of my postings have been removed from those sites.

One such site boasts that it would response to any query within a few hours.

I requested the site to explain as to why seemingly innocuous request of mine was not met.

It was met with deaf silence.

Although, I can see online that they have seen my request.

More than 24 hours later, I sent another and it is yet to be answered.

That too had been read by someone again.

This makes me wonder, who are these people really?

Are they real Whistleblowers or they are here with hidden agendas and to blow someone else’s trumpets?

Like any sensible person, you should also ask from them, where their funding comes from?

Once you get to know the answer (But I bet, they will never disclose that openly but many openly suspect the source), then it will be absolutely clear to you that what their real agenda is here now.

It is up to each individual to believe them or not.

But I suggest getting facts right from them (if they are willing to divulge them in public) before start following such people.

(Just remember that their Puppet Masters had a very bad track record of governing the country a few years back).

I had been having some arguments with someone claiming to be a  True Patriot on one of the social Media platforms.

This was one of my rejoinder to one of his posting.

Now the so-called Patriot has taken steps, so my rejoinder will not be visible to other visitors there.

Therefore, I have decided to post the exact rejoinder of mine here, so others can read it freely and  see the true colours of this so-called Patriot.

• Lately, you have thrown intimidating threats and deleting friends on your list,
• To me, those who are not tolerating opposing views, and intimidating and throwing threats, sudden disappearance those who oppose your views are the whole mark of a dictator and remember that they are a real menace to any decent society,
• Patience is not, as you may think only as a one-way street., for me, it is a two-way street,
• You may be a gentleman to the core, but I am not, 
• And I am not a guy who will turn his other cheek if confronted because I was baptized on the streets, and I know how to take care of such people too,
• Let me ask three final questions and expecting no වැට උඩ answers, otherwise, there is no point in participating in such conversation in future,
• Who are your real Puppet Masters here?
• What is the real intention of filling that affidavit when thousand and more other burning issues needed judiciary attention more?
• Do you seriously believe Geetha K is a better choice to send to the legislature to represent people than Sunil Hadunnetti?
• Do not assume that I am here as someone else’s mouthpiece,
• I still call the present guys NATO Boys and the previous lot the “Looter Murder Gang or LMG Boys.
