Foot soldiers Turned Whistleblowers !

Who are those so-called Whistleblowers and Patriots popping up on many Social Media platforms suddenly?

I confronted a few such people with genuine request to show us, where the funding comes from, but all my requests were either met with some වැට උඩ answers or total silence.

Then I suddenly realized that some of my postings have been removed from those sites.

One such site boasts that it would response to any query within a few hours.

I requested the site to explain as to why seemingly innocuous request of mine was not met.

It was met with deaf silence.

Although, I can see online that they have seen my request.

More than 24 hours later, I sent another and it is yet to be answered.

That too had been read by someone again.

This makes me wonder, who are these people really?

Are they real Whistleblowers or they are here with hidden agendas and to blow someone else’s trumpets?

Like any sensible person, you should also ask from them, where their funding comes from?

Once you get to know the answer (But I bet, they will never disclose that openly but many openly suspect the source), then it will be absolutely clear to you that what their real agenda is here now.

It is up to each individual to believe them or not.

But I suggest getting facts right from them (if they are willing to divulge them in public) before start following such people.

(Just remember that their Puppet Masters had a very bad track record of governing the country a few years back).

Who Are Your Real Puppet Masters ?

I had been having some arguments with someone claiming to be a  True Patriot on one of the social Media platforms.

This was one of my rejoinder to one of his posting.

Now the so-called Patriot has taken steps, so my rejoinder will not be visible to other visitors there.

Therefore, I have decided to post the exact rejoinder of mine here, so others can read it freely and  see the true colours of this so-called Patriot.

First and foremost, let me apologize for dragging your innocent children into this conversation.

I made a general comment after seeing what was going on in our society today but frankly, I was unaware that your children are living overseas in a much more safer and fairer place, unlike the paradise they were born.

My sincere apology is extended to them as well.

We all strive so hard, go overseas looking for work so that our next generation will be in a better position than us.

And so if they choose an alien land as their next place of domicile than the so-called paradise, there is nothing wrong with that line of thinking either.

People, time immoral have voted with their foot.

Why do you think many people (including you and I) have opted to take this route than keeping them in their place of birth, the motherland, the so-called paradise?

Now, let’s get to the Nitty-gritty of our conversation,

• You may see as that we are on a warpath here but to me and many others, it seems that as we are on a Cul-de-sac instead,
• Also, do not think that I come here to get attention and traction,
• For your information, my blog is being read by more than 100 people a day from Nova Scotia to Cape Town and from Sucre to Tokyo,
• My intention of posing seemingly hard questions is to get clarity by forcing others to shed more light and hitherto hidden vaults opened etc,
• Asking hard questions may not look like a good option for you and for some reason or the other,
• Lately, you have thrown intimidating threats and deleting friends on your list,
• To me, those who are not tolerating opposing views, and intimidating and throwing threats, sudden disappearance those who oppose your views are the whole mark of a dictator and remember that they are a real menace to any decent society,
• Patience is not, as you may think only as a one-way street., for me, it is a two-way street,
• You may be a gentleman to the core, but I am not, 
• And I am not a guy who will turn his other cheek if confronted because I was baptized on the streets, and I know how to take care of such people too,
• Let me ask three final questions and expecting no වැට උඩ answers, otherwise, there is no point in participating in such conversation in future,
• Who are your real Puppet Masters here?
• What is the real intention of filling that affidavit when thousand and more other burning issues needed judiciary attention more?
• Do you seriously believe Geetha K is a better choice to send to the legislature to represent people than Sunil Hadunnetti?
• Do not assume that I am here as someone else’s mouthpiece,
• I still call the present guys NATO Boys and the previous lot the “Looter Murder Gang or LMG Boys.

Loudest Voice is not the Voice to be Listened always.

There are two kinds of Patriots in Sri Lanka.

One is the silent kind who really understands the real meaning of patriotism and does everything that is possible in their own small ways to ensure that no harm is done to their beloved country.

The other kind is the most vocal and most loud kind.

They show their patriotism only in public but do not thing to keep their country away from harm’s way.

The loud and vocal kind is seasonal, like flu.

They appear like mushrooms after a rain, when something perceived to be harmful to the country only.

Let me explain this a little more.

Take the recent Geneva meet and the subsequent voting.

The social networks and blogs were awash with them publically bullshitting patriotism.

The vote is over now and none of them are anywhere to be seen again until the next rain.

The reputation, integrity etc of any country can be harmed in two ways.

First is an external threat and the second is internal threat.

External threats can be negated with diplomacy and even with war but the internal one is not.

It is like a cancer within and even an amputation too sometimes would not bring the desired effects.

These Patriot Bull-shitters are happy to tolerate the rampant corruption within the country which is throttling any likely positive development in any foreseeable future, but are happy to maintain their silence.

In my view; maintaining silence is endorsing corruptions.

Instead of bull-shitting in public when an external threat is likely to come, they should put their loud voices to talk about the internal threats too.

Stop bull-shitting in public and please do your bits to save the country.

Do not expect some outsider to come and clean the mess that we have created ourselves.

Loudest voice is not the voice to be listened always.
