Aakashi’s Story !

Living in Kakirawa, Sri Lanka, Aakashi is an impoverished but energetic young girl.

Her mother raised her to this point with the assistance of her grandparents after her father abandoned the family when she was a little child.

They desperately require assistance in quickly constructing a structure over their heads because the house they were sharing with her grandparents is in terrible shape.

The grandfather has a No Objection Certificate from the Mahaveli authority allowing them to construct another house in her name on the same plot of land next to where they currently reside.

We have made the decision to help fund the construction of a suitable home for her and her mother so that they can live honourably and pursue her education further.

ආකාශීගේ කතාව !

කකිරාවේ ජීවත් වන ආකාශී දුප්පත් නමුත් ජවසම්පන්න තරුණියකි.

කුඩා කල සිටම ඇගේ පියා පවුල අතහැර ගිය පසු ඇගේ මව ඇගේ ආච්චිලා සීයලාගේ සහය ඇතිව ඇයව මේ දක්වා ඇති දැඩි කළාය.

ඔවුන් ඇගේ ආච්චිලා සීයලා සමඟ බෙදාගෙන සිටි නිවස අවදානම් තත්ත්වයේ පවතින නිසා ඔවුන්ගේ හිසට ඉහළින් යමක් ඉක්මනින් ඉදිකිරීමට ඔවුන්ට දැඩි ලෙස සහාය අවශ්‍ය වේ.

සීයාට මහවැලි අධිකාරියෙන් ඔවුන් දැනට පදිංචිව සිටින ඉඩමට යාබද ඉඩමේම ඇයගේ නමින් තවත් නිවසක් ඉදිකිරීමට අවසර දීමේ විරෝධාකල්ප සහතිකයක් ඇත.

ඇයට සහ ඇගේ මවට ගෞරවාන්විතව ජීවත් වීමට සහ ඇයගේ වැඩිදුර අධ්‍යාපන කටයුතු කරගෙන යාමට සුදුසු නිවසක් ඉදිකිරීමට අරමුදල් සැපයීමට අපි තීරණය කර ඇත්තෙමු.
