We foot half of the protracted war bill for so long. However, sadly when Heroes are chosen and honoured, we are very conveniently forgotten. We have been treated shabbily always (airports / banks etc) and I wonder why? What do we get for our contributions / sacrifices ?  Absolutely NOTHING ! It is the time to change the mindset of all. We are equally and none less heroes than anyone else. We are the unsung (and conveniently forgotten too) Heroes of this country.
