I laid it all out for them: preferred airline, specific routes, dates, and a simple stopover on the return leg.
It wasn't exactly a complex Open Jaw calculation from the "good old days", just a straightforward A-to-B with a brief pause in between.
The representative took my details with practiced professionalism and a solemn promise to WhatsApp me the itinerary "shortly."
Hours later?

Absolute silence.
Apparently, in the world of high-end corporate travel, "shortly" is a relative term that translates to "whenever we feel like it."
We’re always so quick to point fingers at the state sector for being lethargic, callous, and indifferent.

But today was a helpful reminder that our "shining" private sector is perfectly capable of matching that same level of mediocrity.
If this is the standard of excellence from the best we have to offer, can we really expect any national progress in the foreseeable future?

It really does make you wonder if "Blue-Chip" just refers to the color of the logo rather than the quality of the service these days.
