Chickens Come Home to Roost

This is in no way to endorse and or to condone the proposed and impending health workers work stoppage to force the authorities to give in to their demands in the middle of an epidemic situation not only in the country but all over the world.

Their demands may be all legitimate and reasonable but emphatically and unequivocally that it is bad timing, unethical and action not called for at a crisis time like this.

This reminds the old English saying that “The chickens come home to roost” and it will be a good lesson not only for politicians but all of us.

Sometimes, we and mostly politicians restore to use some deceitful ploys to force others to give into our demands or whims.

When people of the present government were in the opposition, that was exactly what they did to slow down and or to scuttle the development plans by orchestrating transport services disruptions, medical service disruptions, port disruptions to name a few.

Now they are in power with a very serious health, fiscal and financial crisis in the country, their very own old ploys are coming back to haunt them now.

This is a good eye-opener for all.
