Do We Need Leaders Anymore ?

 If someone thinks that what happened today was his or her loss, then it is a mistake.

As long as we stay divided (race, caste, religion, region, whatever), it will be a breeding ground for religious and political parasites 

Even in Islam, it is said that one should not leave a space between two who stand shoulder to shoulder or the devil will take that position.

It is a very meaningful message.

Do not let the devil come and stand between you and I.

What we accomplished without spilling much blood is historic, and we now know what we can accomplish collectively if we channel our energy correctly.

We do not need leaders anymore.

We, the public, are the leaders and all we need is a representation only.

Those who can represent us and deliver our needs and aspirations are only to be sent henceforth and not those who can give your son an appointment in a government office with a pension or a few roofing materials etc. 

අද සිදුවූයේ ඔහුගේ හෝ ඇයගේ පාඩුව යැයි යමෙකු සිතන්නේ නම් එය වරදකි.

අපි බෙදිලා ඉන්න තාක් කල් (ජාතිය, කුලය, ආගම, ප්‍රදේශය, කුමක් වුවත්) එය ආගමික හා දේශපාලන පරපෝෂිතයන් සඳහා තෝතැන්නක් වනු ඇත.

ඉස්ලාමයේ පවා උරෙන් උර ගැටී සිටින දෙදෙනෙකු අතර ඉඩක් නොතැබිය යුතු බව හෝ යක්ෂයා එම ස්ථානය ලබා ගනී.

එය ඉතා අර්ථවත් පණිවිඩයකි.

යක්ෂයාට ඇවිත් ඔබ සහ මම අතරට එන්න ඉඩ දෙන්න එපා.

විශාල ලේ වැගිරීමකින් තොරව අප ඉටු කළ දේ ඓතිහාසික වන අතර, අපගේ ශක්තිය නිවැරදිව මෙහෙයවන්නේ නම් අපට සාමූහිකව ඉටු කළ හැකි දේ අපි දැන් දනිමු.

අපට නායකයන් දැන් අවශ්‍ය නැහැ.

මහජනතාව වන අපි නායකයින් වන අතර අපට අවශ්‍ය වන්නේ නියෝජනයක් පමණි.

අප වෙනුවෙන් පෙනී සිටින සහ අපගේ අවශ්‍යතා සහ අපේක්‍ෂාවන් ඉටුකළ හැකි අය පමණක් මින් ඉදිරියට යැවීමට මිස ඔබේ පුතාට විශ්‍රාම වැටුපක් සමඟ රජයේ කාර්යාලයකට පත්වීමක් හෝ සෙවිලි ද්‍රව්‍ය කිහිපයක් ලබා දිය හැකි අය නොවේ.
