Regenerative Brakes / පුනර්ජනනීය තිරිංග

Regenerative braking is a process used in electric vehicles (EVs) that allows the vehicle's electric motor to capture some of the kinetic energy that would otherwise be lost during braking and convert it into electricity.

This electrical energy is then stored in the vehicle's battery for later use.

When an EV driver applies the brakes, the electric motor switches to generator mode, using the vehicle's kinetic energy to generate electricity.

The electricity generated is then fed back into the battery pack, which helps to recharge the battery and increase the range of the vehicle.

Regenerative braking is a key feature of electric vehicles because it helps to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

By capturing some of the kinetic energy that would otherwise be lost during braking,

EVs can travel further on a single charge, making them more practical and cost-effective for everyday use.

Additionally, regenerative braking can also help to reduce brake wear and extend the life of the vehicle's braking system.

පුනර්ජනනීය තිරිංග යනු විදුලි වාහනවල (EVs) භාවිතා කරන ක්‍රියාවලියක් වන අතර එමඟින් වාහනයේ විදුලි මෝටරයට  තිරිංග තද කිරීමේදී අහිමි වන චාලක ශක්තියෙන් කොටසක් ග්‍රහණය කර එය විදුලිය බවට පරිවර්තනය කිරීමට ඉඩ සලසයි.

මෙම විද්‍යුත් ශක්තිය පසුව භාවිතා කිරීම සඳහා වාහනයේ බැටරියේ ගබඩා වේ.

EV රථයක් පදවන රියදුරෙකු තිරිංග යෙදූ විට, විදුලි මෝටරය විදුලිය ජනනය කිරීම සඳහා වාහනයේ චාලක ශක්තිය භාවිතා කරමින් උත්පාදක මාදිලියට මාරු වේ.

නිපදවන විදුලිය පසුව බැටරි පැකේජයට නැවත ලබා දෙන අතර එය බැටරිය නැවත ආරෝපණය කිරීමට සහ වාහනයේ පරාසය වැඩි කිරීමට උපකාරී වේ.

පුනර්ජනනීය තිරිංග විදුලි වාහනවල ප්‍රධාන ලක්ෂණයක් වන්නේ එය බලශක්ති කාර්යක්ෂමතාව වැඩි දියුණු කිරීමට සහ බලශක්ති පරිභෝජනය අඩු කිරීමට උපකාරී වන බැවිනි.
